    IN THE EVERYDAY
  •
  • is an investigation into the places and routines that are part of our daily activities. Whether commuting to work, sitting in a park, strolling, bike riding, people watching or waiting for a bus, tram or metro, urban life is often defined by time spent getting from one place to another. When we are not engaged in something we are in transition from one activity to another. From the artist's perspective INTERVENTIONS IN THE EVERYDAY is about creating new forms of dialogue or moments of reflection within the public spaces that shape the urban environment. The various projects challenge both the artist and the observer as the forms of exhibition or communication take place outside the normal environment of artistic work.
